Item Description
27x41" one sheet poster for the original 1947 release of the 15 chapter Columbia serial. This is for Chapter 8, "The Secret Room." Poster features great sci-fi imagery w/main cast at top firing futuristic ray weapon. Inset film scene at bottom left shows gun-toting villain holding up supporting actor Joe Brown, Jr. Poster has been folded as issued (now rolled) and has pinholes at top corners. Strips of aged tape at top/bottom center margins. Margins show scattered wear w/some tears along fold creases and at edges. Bottom left corner has .75" piece off. Fold crease intersections show moderate wear (tape repairs on back have splits a well) w/insect holes and scattered along lower fold lines. Tape repair to .5" pull by chapter title box. VG overall.
