Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 5-3/8" long die-cast metal and plastic spaceship w/two tiny pilot figures, crane device and front leg pods that fire missiles. Base on the spacecraft from the Gerry Anderson TV show "Space: 1999" and made in Japan for the Japanese market by Popy, 1970s. Box is complete w/Styrofoam insert and cover and has some scattered color rubs and corner tip wear. VF. Missiles remain sealed in bag as issued. Aside from typical aging to plastic cockpit, toy is NM and comes w/illustrated Japanese instruction sheet and Popy full color catalog. Rare.
