Item Description
Early 1940s battery-operated lighter has overall size of 3x3x4.5" tall. Bakelite plastic base w/attached solid plated cast metal Superman figure which itself is 3" tall. Complete w/the pull-out cylindrical flame unit. Battery box interior complete but has some oxidation and as such we were not able to get lighter to work. Complete w/underside panel featuring company information. Much luster loss to back of Superman's cape as well as figure base. Front of base has small area of luster loss, but most else remains and is bright. Fine/VF overall. A rare Superman item marketed to adults.
