3.5x2-3/8" ticket stub from Game 1 of the 1954 World Series featuring the National League Champion New York Giants hosting the American League Champion Cleveland Indians. The Giants won the game in the 10th inning 5-2, due in part to "the Catch" made by Willie Mays in the 8th inning in centerfield when the game was tied 2-2. His play was not only an extremely difficult over the back catch but has been replayed countless times over the years as one of the most iconic defensive plays in MLB history. An incredible piece from a truly historic moment in sports history.
