Item Description
Pair of 8.5x12x2" deep boxes w/illustrated lid contain two of the many varieties of molded hard plastic toys sets made by Bergen Toy & Novelty Co. Inc. 1950s. Boxes show lt. wear and are VF/Exc. overall. Sets both features nicely illustrated lids. Set No. 171 "Dairy Farm" as stamped on side of lid contains bull, two different cows and calf as well as figures of farmer w/produce and boy holding rabbit. These are held in place on illustrated die-cut insert. Farmer figure has noticeable aging w/some bubbling to paint, but this has stabilized. All else is NM as packaged. Set No. Z-251 "Large Circus Animals" as stamped on side of lid contains clown figure as well as figures of tiger, bear, kangaroo, zebra, alligator and moose. Tiger figure shows obvious aging w/stabilized stress cracks. Tiger is just Good while all is NM as packaged.
