Item Description
6-7/8x9.75" w/128 pages. Published by Dell Publishing Co., Inc. Nov. 1929. Cover features great painted image of sailors panicking as steaming ship approaches their surfaced submarine. Issue includes "The Sea Vulture" cover story. One of just 13 issues published for this title, which "Bookery's Guide To Pulps & Related Magazines" describes as among the rarest of all pulps. Cover has slight trim but remains bright, clean and shows little of the typical cover wear seen on pulp magazine covers. Bottom of spine shows some lt. wear. Pages have aged to cream in color and have some scattered minor edge wear but remain supple for the most part. Still displays VG overall. Rare, this and following three items #1281-1283 are the only examples of this title we've offered in our 49 years.
