See previous item #1280. Published by Dell Publishing Co., Inc. March 1930. Cover features great painted image of American sailor standing in submarine doorway w/water rushing past him as he strikes German submarine commander w/his sidearm. Issue includes "Cruise Of The Devil's Dozen" cover story. Cover has slight trim but remains bright, clean and shows some typical cover wear w/.25" tear at top right of front cover having tape repair on interior and some wear along spine, which has slight roll as bound and shows some wear along bottom. Pages have aged to cream in color but remain supple. VG overall. Rare.
