Item Description

First and complete with rarely present back paper is 1-1/8" litho of Mickey flying downhill on skis. Reverse paper for "Mickey Mouse Gloves And Mittens". Some pinpoints of paint wear, primarily on rim. Overall still VF. Next are all 7/8".  First  is button related to a special project of Disney's merchandising genius Kay Kamen who created Mickey Mouse Magazine to promote studio movies and licensed products. The button reads "Spingle-Bell-Chicko-K" and the words appeared throughout the Magazine, but when something special happened (from a good deed to a new product) the letter "K" was added. The button was distributed at theatres and stores only Jan/Feb 1933. Third promotes "Mickey Mouse Hose" (stockings) and is likely 1932 as Mickey holds an Olympic torch with event in LA that year. Last is from store "Penney's". Light age on the "Hose" back paper by Pudlin. The three smaller buttons are Exc. to Mint. Tom Tumbusch Collection/Tomart Archives.
