Item Description
Overall 3-3/8" tall. The upper piece consists of two floral pattern hand engraved silver bars joined by double layer of purple/white fabric. Back of top bar has 1-7/8"long vertical stickpin and lower bar has a loop which holds the suspension medal. Front outer edges are engraved and an inner rope like raised circle encompasses the full figure of a man with arms and legs in dancing position. Hand engraved text on reverse reads: Presented to/Master H. Quealy/Special Prize/For/Clog Dancing/At/Druid's Gala/9th Nov. 1886". Minor age tone on the fabric and some normal tarnish on the metal parts which are unmarked but test as silver. VF and unique.
