Item Description
"The White Queen, The Red Queen And Alice" lithograph on 8x10" high quality stiff paper has image w/Alice seated between the White Queen and Red Queen. Various animals appear in foreground, w/pots labeled "To Morrow's Jam" and "Yesterday's Jam" at bottom corners. Small title in pencil at lower left w/artist's signature in pencil at lower right. Lithograph has been neatly hand water-colored by the artist, who illustrated over 20 books/magazines and exhibited her work at the National Academy of Design, The Museum of Modern Art and The Art Institute of Chicago, winning many awards and prizes. Her work is displayed to this day in The Boston Museum of Fine Art and The Library of Congress. Blank margins have slight aging and center left has crease. Will frame to VF appearance.
