Item Description
4x5" illustrated folder/card w/plastic blister contains 2" tall plastic "statue" of New York Yankees legend and HOF member Yogi Berra, w/his name in raised lettering on front of base. Part of a series of 18 (that were sold individually for 19¢ and as part of a boxed set) produced by Big League, Inc. in 1956, this example is marked "Series 4." These figures are similar to those released by Dairy Queen in 1955 but are bronze in color instead of white. Back of card features photo of Berra along w/typical stats seen on back of baseball cards. Back also has perforated tab designed to be folded for easel display. This has been neatly punched. Card has even aging and some lt. corner tip/edge wear. Blister is loose as issued and free of any cracks/dents. Card is Fine overall w/NM figure. Scarce w/packaging.
