Item Description
9.5x10.5" mailing envelope contains premium issued by various bread companies, ©1939 WDP. Envelope shows heavy and obvious wear and is just Good. Main piece is 18x20" paper sheet w/cut-outs for circus tent, Pinocchio ticket booth, freak show, elephant and caged lion as well as three circus rings. Sheet has three .5" edge tears and .5" split along edge of original fold line. Despite this wear, sheet remains clean and uncut. Displays VF. Comes w/"Ringmaster" guide detailing premium. Sheet is evenly aged and VF. 9x9" die-cut stiff paper "Ringmaster's Hat" to be worn w/additional of cardboard strip. Some lt. handling wear but o/w Exc. 3.5x5.5" "Ringmaster" ID card has neatly inked name on appropriate line. Small pin hole from attached button, but o/w Exc. Premium comes w/complete set of 60 bread cards, each 2.5x3.75" w/character image on front and different recipe on back along w/"Circus" promo text. ACC# D64. These were issued individually and were to be used either w/the circus premium set or mounted in "Ringmaster's" scrapbook. Each is designed w/dotted line and these were meant to be cut and folded to stand up. All of the major characters from the film are included along w/characters of lesser prominence as well as many of the dolls/toys from Geppetto's workshop. Choice condition NM+ to Mint set.
