Adco-Liberty Mfg. Corp. ©1954 NCP, Inc. Classic lunchbox shows Superman fighting giant robot on front/back panels w/classic yellow Superman symbol, "Superman" comic book title and images on red band. Left side of band has slot for name and has "Superman's Friend Is ..." text. This area is unused. Rim edges show scattered wear w/.5" crack to metal by lid latch tab. Back side of box has more noticeable rim wear, w/some streaks of bare metal showing and several small hairline scratches on edges. Metal latch and handle attachments show some scattered oxidation. Shallow 1.5" indent line to lid and shallow 1.25" indent line on back of box but front/back panels remain bright and glossy. VG/Fine overall but still displays nicely.
