Item Description
8.5x9" thin cardboard box w/perforated display lid contains set by Parks Plastic Company, ©1956 NCP, Inc. Box features image of Superman flying beside Krypton Rocket. Lid's perforations have been punched and lid has .5" tear at center right and 2.5" tear at right corner to lid flap. Evenly aged, box is VG overall but still nice for display. Box is complete w/die-cut insert holding three hard plastic pieces, each about 5" long. These include - reserve fuel tank, pump unit, rocket. Tail fins of blue rocket have relief "S" emblem and Superman logo plus name "Krypton Rocket." Toy uses water as fuel and "Operates On A Real Jet Propulsion Principle." Underside has illustrated instructions and offer for extra rockets. Insert and contents are unused and NM. Nice design. See premium set, following item #1927. Franco Toscanini Collection.
