Item Description
11.25x15.25" stiff cardboard cover book promoting 1930-1931 season of MGM films and MGM stars including - Ramon Novarro, Norma Shearer, Joan Crawford as well as "The Crisis" (based on the novel by Winston Churchill) and shorts including Laurel & Hardy, Our Gang, Flip the Frog cartoons, etc. Of particular note is inclusion of Lon Chaney Sr. in this 1930-1931 exhibitors book, given Chaney's early and untimely death in 1930. Two-page spread advertises "The Bugle Sounds," a film that was not completed. Book has moderate aging to covers w/corner tip wear and some surface paper loss w/spot of color touch-up on "Your Lucky Star" title. Top/bottom spine shows wear as well. Covers are VG overall. Contents remain clean and Exc. w/just trace aging. Limited distribution.
