Item Description

This 1948 Cheerios premium is the largest premium ever offered and one of the most difficult to complete. Offered here are two 8.5" tall, 7 oz. size "Cheerios" cereal boxes w/ art image of Lone Ranger on box front. Back panel art shows three buildings to be cut out and assembled. Boxes have been opened and emptied and come w/third box, which has had top/bottom flaps removed. Boxes came w/nine different numbered selections, comprising the first 28 models. Box #2 shows aging/wear but remains nice for display. VF w/Exc. parts. Box #3 has been slit open along top and shows moderate edge wear. Fine. Some loose perforations, but pieces remain VF/Exc. Cereal box #9 is VF despite having top/bottom flaps removed. Models 29-71 were obtained through the mail as four different packages. Lot also comes w/two original mailer envelopes w/typed address labels. These contain the 20x26" Northeast and Northwest map sections along w/unpunched sheets of the models for those two sections. Some loose perforations, but VF to Exc. overall. Maps are Exc.
