Item Description
First is 1" DeWitt 1824-2 w/portrait in uniform and text "Gen. Andrew Jackson." Reverse reads "The Hero Of New Orleans." Some softening of details but remains Fine. Second is a rare example of 1.5" DeWitt 1828-9 w/right facing portrait and text "And. Jackson President Of The United States 1829" around rim. Signs of extensive use w/metallic surface loss and extensive softening of all details. Clearly this token has been very well traveled in its years. Fair. Ted Watts Collection.
