Item Description
Lot of three 11.75" long (from end of steamers to pennant tip) felt pennants issued by various clothing stores during the 1940s. Each features same silk-screened design that includes full figure image of flying Superman and Tim portrait. Each has two sets of streamers attached by tiny metal rivets at corners. Colors include yellow and red w/dark blue silk-screening and a lighter red (not faded but as produced) w/black silk-screening. Pennants have some lt. scattered aging/wear, but tips remain and silk-screened images are complete. Fine/VF. All are scarce. Franco Toscanini Collection.
