Item Description

Pair of typed 85x11" letters on "Cloverleaf Dairy" letterhead from Salt Lake City, UT dairy, including one mailing envelope w/typed recipient name/address. One letter welcomes member to the Cloverleaf Dairy Chapter of the Supermen Club of America and goes on to list club materials including secret code, ring, badge, etc. Letter also mentions Superman radio program. Second letter is addressed to mother and notes approval of the Superman Club and movie program at local theater. Letter also mentions child's forthcoming desire for Cloverleaf Milk, given the promotions. Both letters have been signed in ink by dairy manager and are folded as mailed. VF. Envelope has inked note and some aging. Fine/VF. All are very rare, w/few known examples. Franco Toscanini Collection.
