Item Description
Pair of puzzles from a boxed series by Saalfield, both ©1940 Superman, Inc. Lot includes puzzle No. 1505, "Superman And The Submarine" (puzzle only) depicting Superman underwater lifting submarine as seen on the cover of "Action Comics" #15. Puzzle has assembled size of 12x16" and is complete. Pieces are Exc. 4-5/8x6-5/8x2" deep cardboard box contains puzzle No. 180, "Superman Saves The Streamliner" depicting Superman stopping train from crashing off broken tracks as seen on the cover of "Action Comics" #13. Box has some corner creasing to lid but is o/w VF. Puzzle is missing one piece at front right corner of locomotive. Puzzle is o/w Exc. Franco Toscanini Collection.
