Item Description
Extremely detailed all felt stuffed doll w/wire armatures in arms/legs for posing stands 11" tall to top of hat. Made in Italy by Cresla, this is an officially licensed Disney item. c. 1940s. Cresla made a number of Donald Duck dolls during the 1940s in a variety of different outfits. This example is depicted wearing a hooded jacket and a Robin Hood-like peaked hat w/metal bell attached to bill. Wrist has foil-covered die-cut cardboard tag w/Cresla company text and "Walt Disney" name. Tag has inked number on reverse and has some handling wear. Fine/VF. Doll has some lt. dust soiling but is o/w Exc. Rare and first we've offered of this variety in our 50 years.
