Item Description
Complete seven piece premium issued c. late 1950s. Main piece is a 2.5x2.5" thin molded plastic picture frame badge by Pictorial Productions. Designed as a circus tent w/Cheerios Boy standing in front as strongman flexing w/image of Cheerios cereal on his bicep. Back has metal bar pin w/recessed area on front where flicker/flasher pictures are placed. Each flicker is 1.25x1.5" w/full motion images, all featuring circus theme. Backs have Cheerios name and picture title as well as maker "Vari-Vue." Titles are "Mickey Mouse The Master Magician, Donald Duck The Strongman, Pluto The Balancing Pup, Bongo The Circus Performing Bear, Hippy The High Wire Hippo, Dumbo The Flying Elephant." Some lt. aging, but Exc. to NM. Frame has 3/8" crack at upper left and some color rubs. Fine/VF. Nicely designed set. Tom Tumbusch Collection/Tomart Archives.
