Item Description
3.5" button shown on Player Accomplishments page 401, but not the photo specimen. Muchinsky's note reads: "In 1999 Sammy Sosa ... was chasing the single season home run record set the year before by Mark McGwire. Late in the season a particular vendor at Wrigley Field made up a batch of pins with a design based on the Cubs game program he was also selling." Button has numeral "60" in a circle and numerals go up to 70. Mint. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
