Item Description
5-3/8x9" die-cut  calendar w/small 1916 calendar pad (complete). Calendar features image of African-American baker standing behind large sack of flour, holding large loaf of bread w/'Blend's Mah Friend" slogan. This was handed out at the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition World's Fair held in San Francisco, CA Feb. 20 to Dec. 4, 1915. Calendar pad has "Recipe For The Famous Fisher's Blend Exposition Scone On The Back Of This Calendar" text on cover and back of calendar features recipe as well as photo of the Fisher booth in "The Food Products Building At P.P.I.E." Calendar has some handling wear w/crease across baker's face and some creases at bottom corners. Fine overall. First we've seen in our 50 years.
