Item Description

Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 8.25" long tin litho truck w/rubber tires. Made in Japan by Nomura, c. 1956. This is the scarcest variety of several carnival rides on trucks toys made by them. Box shows obvious wear w/corner denting/creasing and small punctures to lid, which has 1.75 side panel tear. Good. Toy features wonderful design; as the vehicle moves forward/backward, it simultaneously rotates a trio of three-dimensional tin litho riders. They rotate in a circle like a merry-go-round while at the same time move up and down like a see-saw. Truck has aging to played bumper/grille, hood ornament and window frame and some lt. scattered wear to rest of toy in the form of small paint nick/scratches. Truck bed has some denting. Friction is a bit tricky and riders do not raise much. Fine overall.
