Item Description
Both made in Japan, 1950s. Both are tin litho w/solid rubber tires, side and back opening doors and smooth working friction motors. ABC was made by Kokyo Trading Company and depicts tractor trailer of an actual 1950s trucking company, and may have been a premium for customers. Bright plating on wheels, bumpers, etc. is mostly gone, o/w toy is Fine/VF. S.I.E. was made by Shioji & Co., company's "SSS" logo on cab. Trucks markings are take-off on large trucking company of the period P.I.E. As w/ABC truck, most of the bright plating on wheels are gone, but bumper, grill w/"GMC" markings and headlights are still shiny. Rest of truck is VF.
