Item Description

Sizes are .75" for brass pin up to pair of 2.25" buttons. First two name "Open Road Pioneers." This was a club started in 1927 with Boone/Crockett style character mascot by the magazine Open Road For Boys that started in 1919. The button is common, the brass pin is rare. The other six picture or name Daniel Boone. First from his 1934 centennial, second a litho from set by Button Gum 1930s, third a litho from 1950s, fourth again from 1934 centennial, fifth a rare 1940 "Whisker Club" button and last from the 1964 TV show starring "Fess Parker". Light wear on the Button Gum but Fine and rest are Exc. to Mint.
