Item Description

See item #2271 for important background information. The 1939 Treasure Hunt Contest (see previous item #2274) had a March 12, 1939 deadline. This three piece lot includes 10x12" page section from publication "The Skelly Man" (2/15/1939), with margin text "Clip This Article And Post It At Your Station". Noticeable glue show through and three light crease lines. VG. Next is big mailer addressed to Omaha gas station that goes from 7 x 11" to 11x14" with bold text "1000 Lucky Winners" to 22x28" poster sized list of 1000 names of winners 15 states. On reverse, one blank quadrant has tan glue stain but only a little bit shows on the name list in four small areas. Numerous names in Nebraska and Iowa have lead or red pencil check marks. VG. Station owners were to post this in their window by Friday night March 31.  Also included is a likely functional Agfa Clipper camera that takes 2-1/8x2.5" roll film. VF. The 1000 winners picked either this camera or roller skates. Three rare items.
