Item Description
23.5x36" cotton, 1880. Listed in Threads Of History as #469 and referenced as "Yard Goods". Two complete portraits of each candidate. Images are framed by a laurel wreath w/crossed American flags below and a scroll w/name and office. Additionally accented w/banners at right reading "Equality For All Men" and at left "Union For Ever." A trivial .5" by less than 1" stain in scroll at top above portrait of Garfield. Otherwise a superb example w/only some light wrinkling that would likely iron out. Extremely Fine w/fresh colors. Among the finest examples we have seen in our 50 years.
