9.75x10" softcover book published by David McKay Co. ©1931 Walt Disney. 48 pages in bw featuring reprints of Floyd Gottfredson "Mickey Mouse" daily strips from 1930-1931 including "Mr. Slicker" story w/infamous Mickey suicide sequence. Other stories include - "Mickey Mouse Music, The Picnic, Traffic Troubles." Cardboard cover w/ad on inside front for "The Adventures Of Mickey Mouse" book. Inside front cover has pulled away from staples, though remain firmly affixed via fabric spine binding as published. Cover shows tiny traces of wear and both front/back have evenly aged. Pages have also evenly aged to tan in color. Book is still a very clean example. VF overall and in much higher grade than any of these Mickey Mouse books are typically found. Among the nicest we've offered in our 50 years. Overstreet Price Guide value in VF condition = $2,200.
