Item Description

10.25x11-5/8" plastic binder contains comprehensive guide to everything there is to know if employed as a Disney costumed character in the early 1970s. Binder was given to costumed cast members only as noted by "Please Prevent Undue Exposure Of This Material To The General Public" note on back cover. After introduction page stating company mission pertaining to costumed characters, each character/group of characters to be portrayed has sections w/detailed instructions on character traits, getting dressed, portraying the character, how to react to guests etc. All the major characters are included - Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Dumbo, Three Little Pigs and Big Bad Wolf, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Chip and Dale as well as characters from Disney animated films including "Song Of The South, Cinderella, Alice In Wonderland" and "Peter Pan." Also has sections on film characters being promoted during this time period such as "The Jungle Book" and "Robin Hood" as well as a section for "Winnie The Pooh" characters. Some lt. wear to cover but Exc. overall. A fascinating look behind the scenes of Disneyland.
