Item Description
8.25x17x1.5" deep cardboard box contains parts for 1930s Chad Valley Co. Ltd. game. Box lid features label w/choice illustration depicting a carnival slide ride, w/Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Clarabelle Cow, Horace Horsecollar and Donald Duck, who busts through wooden guard rail. Lid has edge/corner tip wear w/some scattered aging and two corner splits. Box is Fine overall. Underside of lid has pasted instructions. Game consists of a cardboard insert w/large image of Mickey, w/die-cut holes featuring different point values. Cardboard spiral is attached at top, w/11.5" wooden pole. Originally issued w/glass marbles (not included but easily replaced), which were placed in the spiral, landing holes to score points. Game insert has scattered lt. trace of dust soiling, minor corner crease and is Fine/VF. An exceptionally well-designed and colorful game.
