Item Description

Both of these jet plane launching rings are from 1948, and were advertised on the Superman radio program. The first came from Kellogg's Pep cereal and the second from Kellogg's Corn Flakes cereal. Pep version is brass base with airplane image on each side. Depressing a lever, launches a small silver metal plane. Corn Flakes version has same ring base but in silver luster. This plane, of black plastic, is a replica of the Curtiss F-87 Super Jet. Both examples are essentially Mint.
