Item Description
1900. 2-1/8" beautiful design of lunch pail w/factory building and smoke stacks belching fire and black smoke to symbolize prosperity. Captions on the workingman's lunch pail are: "Do You Smoke?/Yes-Since 1896!" with additional text on lower rim "That's What McKinley Promised." Missing original back paper. Tiny light brown dot in the margin near edge at 2 o'clock and surface wear consistent w/light use most notably a 1/8" vertical hairline scratch near the edge at 8 o'clock. Extremely Fine. Unfaded color and high gloss. Scarce and among the most desirable McKinley designs. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
