Item Description
1.5" each. Mario Savio rose to prominence as an activist during the Free Speech Movement at UC Berkeley. Savio was considered by the FBI to be "The Nation's Most Prominent Student Leader" and was targeted by the bureau's COINTELPRO program. These buttons are from his unsuccessful 1968 campaign for the Alameda County State Senate, CA seat as the Peace & Freedom Party candidate. All are NM displaying Mint.
