Item Description
1.5" w/Regal Emblem Co. back paper. Repeating motif of a hand shake at top. Text "Bury" at center and w/"Jim Crow" on tombstone at bottom flanked by "Jan. 1950." Additional text at top "Button Of The Month Club." The Labor Youth League was the reestablished youth organization of the Communist Party USA and formed in 1949. Scattered faint light brown dots in field most notable are: 1/8" above the "B" in "Bury"; 1/8" just left of the "Y" in "Bury" and a light gray dot above the "1950." Extremely Fine. Structurally sound, perfectly centered and almost no surface wear. The only other time we can recall offering this outstanding rarity was in Auction 218. That example was NM and exceeded $1,500.
