Item Description
4-3/8x5.75" four-page herald for 1926 silent drama directed by Tod Browning (of "Dracula" and "Freaks" fame) and starring Lon Chaney. The film was considered lost until an abridged version w/French intertitles surfaced in Paris. This poor quality French abridgement is all that survives of the film. Chaney is pictured throughout as Singapore Joe, sporting a blind eye. Back has "Lyric" theater stamped imprint w/showtimes. Upper right corner has .25" piece off and herald has two vertical creases. Fine overall. Rare.
