10.5x11.5" hardcover w/576 pages. Authored by two of Disney's legendary Nine Old Men - Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston, book was published by Abbeville Press. This is first edition, ©1981 Walt Disney Productions. Book features countless full-color illustrations dealing w/Disney animation from concept art to storyboards to bkgs. and character development and much more. Book has notation "This Book Belongs To Bob" and has been signed by a total of 36 people, including Disney artists, animators, voice actors and original Mouseketeers. Those who have signed include - "Alice Comedies" Alice actress Virginia Davis (who has also signed on separate included photo), four of Disney's Nine Old Men (Frank Thomas, Ollie Johnston, Ward Kimball and Marc Davis) as well as artists/animators Bill Justice (who added large Donald Duck portrait), Carl Barks, Eyvind Earle, Grim Natwick, Claude Coats, Lee Blair, Russell Schroeder (who added Mickey Mouse sketch), Will Ryan, Ken Anderson (who also signed separate sheet of paper), Van A. France, Ed Fourcher (who also signed separate sheet of paper), Claude and Evelyn Coates, Bill Brodie, Clair Weeks, Bob McIntosh, Bob Jones, Becky Fallberg, Mary Blair, Collin B. Campbell, Bill Bosche and Michael Broggie as well as Minnie Mouse voice actress Russi Taylor, Donald Duck voice actor Tony Anselmo and Goofy and Pluto voice actor Bill Farmer, who have also signed. Original Mouseketeers who have signed include Bobby Burgess, Karen Pendelton, Tommy Cole, Sharon Baird, Lonnie Burr and Sherry Alberoni. Dave Smith of the Walt Disney Archives has signed title page. Book is Exc. w/original dust jacket, which remains unclipped but shows some scattered lt. wear and is Fine overall. The signatures in this great reference book were obtained in-person over decades at various Disney events, making for a one-of-a-kind collection. Comes with Hake's COA.
