Item Description
See previous item #1037. Offered here are two variations on a theme, both produced c. 1890s. 7.25" tall w/composition head has cast metal hands, one of which holds painted metal mask. When lever on back is pressed, Yellow Kid unmasks himself. Printed fabric shirt shows obvious and heavy wear (w/sizable portion on front missing) and majority of paint on mask is missing. VG overall. 5.75" tall w/cast metal head has metal hands; one holds a lunchbox while other is holed for unknown purpose. Operating wire present on back, but mechanical feature does not work. Missing majority of paint on head w/heavy paint wear to hands. Fabric shirt shows heavy and obvious aging/wear. Good/VG. Both have wooden stands under clothes as made and stand well.
