Item Description
1.75". Design features an eagle perched on a shield at top and a flowing ribbon at bottom w/candidates last names and "1916" helping to frame razor sharp oval portraits. The superlative quality and eye popping contrast make this a truly outstanding rarity. Limited tiny surface wear traces catch reflected light. For accuracy we mention a slight bit of discoloration at the top of the leather fob that does not affect cello. Exc. displaying Mint. Some similarity to Hake #3004. Only the second example of this design known to us w/the previous selling for $10,890 almost ten years ago in Auction #193. Hughes material is notoriously rare making this a special opportunity to obtain among the top Hughes/Fairbanks jugates.
