Item Description

Lot of three, each 8.5x11". Catalogs and page counts are: Kenner 1977-104 pgs. 1978-112 pgs. 1979-136 pgs. While the catalogs are loaded w/games, dolls and various toys of all types, the action figure lines that are featured are the real highlights. 1977 highlights are Six Million Dollar Man & Bionic Woman (extensive selection including rare store displays), Stretch Armstrong/Stretch Monster and more. 1978 contains the previous 1977 highlights plus Bionic Bigfoot and Venus Space Probe. This catalog ushers in Star Wars in all its glory. The original 3.75"-12 back assortment showing double telescoping lightsabers and vinyl caped Jawa w/retailer displays. The start of the vehicles, playsets, 12" line and diecast vehicles. 1978 has had three pages (p. 33, 59 and 59) cut and missing. However no major Star Wars content is missing. Also a few pages loose from trimming. Still a great reference. 1979 has the expanded 21 figure line of Star Wars including Boba Fett in 3.75" and 12" plus retailer displays featuring Boba Fett mail-away as well as a mention of the Star Wars TV Special. Items shown include (in some cases) prototypes and unproduced items. Scattered lt. handling wear but overall VF copies. Scarce, retailer only catalogs. An amazing assortment of now classic toys, invaluable reference material for the collector and historian. Tom Tumbusch Collection/Tomart Archives.
