Item Description

"Special Forces" is the sixth solo studio album by Alice Cooper, released in Sept. 1981, and was produced by Richard Podolor, most famous as the producer for Three Dog Night. Singles included "You Want It, You Got It, Who Do You Think We Are" and "Seven And Seven Is." Lot includes 23.5x29.75" stiff cardboard record store promotional poster featuring enlarged photo portrait featured on album cover. Poster has been boldly signed by Alice Cooper in black felt tip pen. Poster has some lt. corner tip wear, but would frame for an Exc. appearance. Rarely seen as signed. Comes w/18.5x27.75" heavy stock paper printer's proof sheet for album cover, complete w/color bars along top margin. These were made to test the graphics for the album cover before it went to press. Top center has 1x1.5" triangular piece missing from margin and corner piece missing at upper left. Proof has some scattered handling wear. VG/Fine. Also comes w/production stat of logo w/design firm label. This design was used on LP and elsewhere as seen on included unused backstage pass. Very interesting lot for this lesser known Alice Cooper album. Comes with Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
