Item Description
"From The Inside" is the fourth solo studio album by Alice Cooper, released in 1978. It is a concept album about Cooper's stay in a New York sanitarium due to his alcoholism. Each of the characters in the songs were based on actual people Cooper met in the sanitarium. The album was supported by the "Madhouse Rocks Tour," which lasted from Feb. to April 1979. The album is also notable for having been used to form the characters and storyline when Alice Cooper was featured in a comic book, "Marvel Premiere" #50. Offered here is a press kit consisting of two photos, biography sheet and "Certificate Of Insanity." Also comes w/second certificate that has been signed by Cooper in black felt tip pen. Lot also include the Marvel comic, which has also been signed by Cooper in black felt tip pen on front cover, w/"Michael" inscription. Final item is unused iron-on w/same image as on certificates. Aside from comic and iron-on, contents are Exc. to NM. Comic has some pinch creases to spine and is Fine overall. Iron-on has some handling wear and is VF. The ultimate lot for this classic Alice Cooper album. Comes with Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
