Item Description
Lot consists of 2.25” dia. dexterity puzzle with silver luster tin rim holding glass cover over color portrait of Lloyd. Manufactured in Spain circa 1920’s. Object of game was to get black tin replica eyeglasses with yellow celluloid lenses to properly attach to Lloyd’s face. Rim has some silver luster loss with some minor denting, and glass has some chips to interior. Reverse with Spanish text has some light aging but puzzle is essentially VF. Second item in lot is rare Harold Lloyd bisque smoking novelty. .75” tall with classic smiling likeness of Lloyd showing head & shoulders. Bisque has open area on right shoulder to rest cigarette and back has 25 small 1/16” holes which allow smoke to escape creating strange visual effect. Made in Germany circa 1930. Some minor color rubs to base corners and raised surfaces of face. These do not greatly detract from overall attractiveness of piece which remain VF. Both from the Gary Selmonsky Collection.
