Item Description
9” tall with scissor movements, this interesting mechanical representation shows the classic comedy duo of Laurel and Hardy and when legs are moved heads alternately bob up and down while arms tip bowler hats. Circa late 1920’s. Piece has advertisement for restaurant in Spanish and artist name printed “Cvellar”. Each figure has crease at hand, but does not affect mechanics of figures. Metal tabs that hold pieces together have rust with some minor soiling at cardboard. Bottom half of figures have moderate dust soiling and some very minor surface rubs. Light fade. FN. From the Gary Selmonsky Collection.
