Item Description
14.75x21.5" paper sign for "Eat-It-All" Flavor-ized Flare-Top Cones. ©1947 Famous Artists Syndicate. Choice art features total of 21 different comic characters, all gathered around gigantic ice cream cone. Billboard in bkg. w/promotional text including "Eat-It-All" name. Several characters are shown w/ice cream cones, including Little Orphan Annie and Captain Midnight. Other characters include - Dick Tracy and Junior, Herby, Smokey Stover, Harold Teen, Denny Dimwit, Perry Winkle, Andy Gump. A similar sign was produced for "Flare-Top" cones, although w/different cone image and advertising text on billboard. Top and bottom margins have some creasing and lower right has some scattered dust soiling. Still Fine/VF overall. Among the nicest of all multi-comic character advertising signs. Rare. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
