Item Description
Taft toured the entire country from Sept-Nov. in 1909. In Houston, the speaking stand was so high above the people and the crowd so large that he severely strained his vocal cords. This memento of the day is 1.25" real photo cello with some very dark green background tint attached to stiff fiberboard fob 2-3/16" long. Comes with a worn leather strap. Text "Our Guest Houston Oct. 23, 1909". Very light surface wear on lower half cello seen only in reflected light, High gloss and Exc. displaying Mint.
