Item Description
1.75" with W&H back paper used only 1900-1912. Button was issued for the "Mid Summer Festival, Sioux City" and while no year is specified this would be c. 1904. Pictured are the overly-polite duo comic strip characters created by famous cartoonist Frederick Opper. Button has three tiny 1/8" hairline craze marks, two near invisible and one catching reflected light beneath the letter "Y" of the word "City." All else remains bright, clean and glossy. A rare button issued for six day event. Fine but displaying NM.
