Item Description
1.5" with back paper by "Balto. Badge & Nov. Co." Pictured is buck-tooth young boy somewhat reminiscent in looks and speech of the Yellow Kid. He wears a baseball outfit and fielder's glove or catcher's mitt. He says "Say! Look Me Up In De Pittsburg Sunday Dispatch" with curved cursive signature "Yures Trulie Pickle Neary." Below the signature is a tiny monogram looking something like a miniature sailboat. Bottom edge is inscribed "Copyright 1903." Cream background has very faint and limited traces of slight age tone. Button remains with full gloss and unfaded color. One of only four examples seen in our 50 years. This is from Collectible Pin-Back Buttons color plate page #159. Comes with Hake's COA.
