Item Description
Large 35x47" frame contains wonderfully illustrated magic poster for Italian magician Chabernot, featuring large devil's face w/eyes represented by woman and man's faces and scene of assistant standing by magic cabinet beside separate cabinet w/a vast array swords and blades run through it. The devil's mouth spells "Chabernot" name while Italian text at bottom translates to "The Great Illusionist." Bottom margin notes poster was printed by Marzocchi of Bologna, Italy. 1930s. Poster has lt. even aging, which is only really noticeable at margins. Displays Exc. as professionally matted and framed. Stunning and scarce poster.
